Likert Scale

A multi-point agree-disagree scale. For ages 4–8, often replaced by dichotomous BPI-style items for clarity.

The Likert scale asks respondents to rate agreement on a multi-point continuum (e.g., 1–5). While useful with adults, it can overwhelm young children. Consider dichotomous items in BPI/CHAT-E formats instead.
